Registration and login-area
Calipio is and will remain being the fastest and easiest to use free online screen recorder on the market!
But we now added some nice features which makes it more usable and of course are we providing these features to all users! Besides the future paid Professional package (see below) we are providing two different – and free – ways to use Calipio, unregistered as before and with additional functionality for registered users.
Preview Professional Package
In the very near future Calipio is starting it’s Professional package to comfort the needs and requirements of professionals who want to add Calipio functionality into their company workflow.
Furthermore Calipio is the only screen recorder on the market which provides a transparent and easy to understand invoicing scheme based on recording time (in minutes) rather than file size which is always a kind of black box. Especially considering that file size depends on your screen’s size and so on.
10 Euro per month gives 200 minutes of recording and keeping, regardless of them being used up in just one gigantic recording or several short ones. It is up to the customer!
The ones in need of even more recording and storing volume might upgrade to additional 200 minute packages for 7 Euro each. Everything beyond that is covered by a tailor made Enterprise model.

Library with title and description
All registered users can access their own library of recordings with various useful and comfortable features.
The following functions are available from the beginning on:
- List of all recordings
- Option to assign titles and descriptions for each recording
- Sharing directly out of the library
- Length of the recordings as well as recording date
- Left storage duration, depending on chosen package
- Capacity view, shows how much recording capacity is left in your package
- View counter for each recording
As a special bonus users can add a recording to their library if it was made in non logged in state of even without a registration at all. Possible just because of the elaborated end to end encryption used by Calipio.
Sign in with Google
A very attractive and well loved feature for all users with a Google account (and hey, who doesn’t have one?). Saves valuable time as no account creation is needed within Calipio.
One click and the Calipio account is created instantly.
Recording of computer audio
All Google Chrome users can record their computer audio in addition to their microphone! Works on all platforms and is set up on providing Calipio access to the computer’s microphone. Apple and Linux users may record just from a Chrome tab while Windows users can record all their audio output (due to Chrome’s limitations)
We care to not care
At the end we want to point out again the importance of the chosen path of applying end to end encryption on everything Calipio. This really ensures your privacy and guarantees that nobody, this includes of course Calipio as well, can watch or scan your videos without the included encryption link which only the creator of the video has! Furthermore Calipio doesn’t track or evaluate what users do other than to improve the overall customer satisfaction and experience. No evaluation or even selling of personal data or tracked activity is undertaken by Calipio or it’s affiliates.
Honesty and transparency is the determining and driving factor behind the Calipio development.
